Welcome to Lido 73

No One Does Summer Like the Italians

With miles of stunning coastline and over 400 islands, Italy lives and breathes seaside culture. No matter where you go, the sea — and a Lido — are never far. These iconic beach clubs aren’t just places to swim; they’re a way of life. Colorful umbrellas, classic lounge chairs, salty air, long lunches, and the soft hum of boats and paddle boarders — the Lido is where generations gather to soak up the simple pleasures of summer.

It’s the home of la "dolce far niente" — the sweet art of doing nothing.

Come by boat, car, bike or on foot.

Eat & Drink

At Lido 73, we bring the spirit of Italian beach clubs to life—sun-drenched, carefree, and just steps from the water. Our Coastal Americano menu blends the breezy, vibrant flavors of Italy, Europe, and the U.S., creating a seaside haven where every bite feels like a holiday.

Imagine crisp calamari kissed with lemon, wood-fired flatbreads warm to the touch, fresh herbs mingling with the scent of salt air, and cocktails clinking as golden hour light dances across the bay. Whether you're joining us for a laid-back lunch, sunset dinner, or a brunch that lingers into the afternoon, Lido 73 invites you to relax, indulge, and savor the taste of coastal escape.

Our Inspiration

There are hundreds of Lidos throughout Italy and it's the place where Italians and Europeans rejuvenate the body and soul.

Protect our Reefs

For over 30 years, Lido 73's beautiful inlet was home to the Florida Keys Dive Center. Thousands of visitors and dive enthusiasts experienced North America's only coral barrier reef. Located off Tavernier Creek, Lido 73 is still a natural reservoir and a reminder of the delicate treasures beneath the water's surface. On most days, a family of manatees makes their way through the inlet, and we are greeted with their gentle beauty.

Our family wanted to preserve this history. Thanks to the generous offering, world-renowned and local photographer Stephen Frink installed eight of the most iconic underwater images of the Upper Keys in our main dining room.
